Deposits & cancellations

This is a one-person studio. When an appointment is missed the time cannot be given to anyone else, so these terms exist to keep the diary workable — not to catch anyone out. They are deliberately short.

The deposit

No deposit is taken at the moment — online payment is not switched on, so nothing is charged when you book and no card details are asked for. The full amount is paid in the studio on the day. Choosing a time holds it for you straight away.

Changing or cancelling

  • Cancel whenever you need to. Nothing has been taken, so there is nothing to refund and nothing to lose.
  • More than 24 hours ahead is kindest, because the time can then be offered to somebody else.

You can cancel yourself from your bookings — no phone call, no awkward message.

Running late

Let us know if you can. Appointments are spaced rather than stacked, so a few minutes is usually fine. If you arrive so late that your treatment no longer fits the slot, it may need to be shortened or rebooked.

Missed appointments

A missed appointment with no contact is treated as a late cancellation. It happens; it is not held against you.

Out-of-hours appointments

If you request a time outside normal hours and it can be accommodated, an out-of-hours fee of £25 is added to the bill. You will always be told the total before anything is confirmed, and you can decline at that point.

Patch tests

Eyelash and eyebrow tints need a patch test at least 48 hours in advance. It is free and takes a couple of minutes. If you arrive for a tint without a valid patch test on record, that part of the appointment may have to be rescheduled — this is a safety requirement, not a preference.

Questions

Anything here that doesn't fit your situation, just ask when you book — the notes field gets read.
